When I saw a garden, I noticed that a seedling grew. The seed of "Aokazura(Sabia japonica)" which put much fruit on the previous year fell and budded. Stalk cutting is done by using this. There is such an advantage. It can be done short (the length to the seed leaf from the root ). Nebari(Exposed roots) improves. It is the suitable time when an actual leaf began to grow from the seed leaf Though Keyaki(Zelkova serrata), To-kaede(Acer buergerranum), and so on were more suitable, it had already grown big, and time was lost.
